Knit with Me–preview, the final one

One day to go! Tomorrow we launch Knit with Me, Gudrun Johnston’s delightful book of knitwear inspired by the knitting connection between herself and daughter Maya. And today, after a series of peeks at what’s inside, we give you all the front matter in lookbook version, which you can find right here. For a little more of the back story, a few more pics below.

One of Maya’s illustrations that you’ll find interspersed throughout the book.

Inside the barn, Gudrun adjusts the bow on Maya’s Granny Smith for the very first picture taken at the shoot.

A pile of plaid blankets. Gudrun styled the shoot around plaids and small prints–and wellies.

Taking a knitting break.

Puffin! in Carrie’s Yellow with needle.

A picnic set up. Plaid blankets, thermos, apples, a few wild flowers, and an apple cake with a slice cut out.

Late afternoon next to the hen house, La Maison de Poulets.

Just for you to know, poulailler is the correct word for hen house, pronounced pou-la-lié. It is not as poetic as in English !
