We put out a new pattern every week. We aim for Tuesday, sometimes we make Wednesday, and once in a while we scramble for Thursday. A new pattern every week means: Coming up with a design, getting it knitted, getting the pattern written, getting the pattern tech-edited, finding a model and good weather, shooting, doing a photo edit, laying out the pattern, uploading the pattern to the website, designing an e-letter, sending out the e-letter.
No small thing.
And this week, well–we tried. But we just couldn’t pull it off.
So we went to our (slim) archive, and what did we see? Tonye in a Nasturtium version of the State Street Cowl. Why not?
We had to choose between the serious Tonye against the ultra modern gray siding (above) and the more familiar smiling Tonye against a painted brick wall that doesn’t exactly complement the color of the piece (below). Hard choice. But we couldn’t resist that grin.
