Ravelry and Instagram Roundup

Deep summer…actually the last two mornings have been hovering around 60 F, with a stiff breeze coming off the ocean on my walks to the Quince office. Takes me ahead to crisp fall mornings, my favorite kind.

For myself, still plugging away at my Emma shrug. I plan to wear it in just over 2 weeks, so…better stay on it!

On Ravelry, I'm still seeing a lot of new Sparrow designs! Summer is the time for knitting all things small and/or non-woolly. Irresistible kid sweaters, summer and fall accessories, just scratching the surface here:

If you're into knitting with a virtual group, right now we've got two opportunities for you to do so:

Over at our Quince & Co group on Ravelry, we're just over halfway through our Shawls KAL -- you still have time to join in the fun! We'll be wrapping up this KAL on Monday, August 3rd.

Also, if you didn't see our latest release, Top Down: Reimagining Set-in Sleeve Design, by Elizabeth Doherty, go check it out now! Starting on Monday, July 20th, Elizabeth will be running a swatch-along (SAL) for the book in her Ravelry group, Blue Bee Knits. During this SAL, you can decide what you want to knit from the book, do your swatch, adjust for slight gauge differences if necessary using the tutorial in the book, and make any adjustments needed for your perfect seamless, top-down, set-in sleeve sweater all under Elizabeth's expert guidance! Once you're all set to knit, head on over to the Quince & Co Ravelry group for the Top-Down KAL running from Thursday, August 6th to Thursday, October 1.

One more KAL to add to the mix: there's a KAL happening over at the woolful Ravelry group for Hannah Fettig's new book, Home & Away: Knits for Everyday Adventures, that runs until September 1st.

Isn't it great to be constantly inspired by knitting?

xoxo, jerusha
