winter blooms
After a surreal stretch of warm, near summer-like weather over the holidays, our first snowstorm of the season has finally arrived, kicking into high gear daydreams of all the sweaters we'd love to knit for the occasion. Warmth doesn't always mean bulk, however, and we're so pleased to add another dreamy, light-as-air layering piece to the Quince pattern library.
Today we release Floret, a sweater designed by Kirsten TenDyke. In Piper, garments are incredibly lightweight, yet cozy and warm due to the soft wool/mohair blend.
Floret's pretty details lie in the floral motifs adorning the center front and raglan lines at the front and back shoulders. Delicate seed stitch at the boat neck, hem, and cuffs of the three-quarter sleeves provide a perfect balance of subtle elegance.
Sweet, simple, and warm.
