The School of Making by Alabama Chanin x Quince Style Guide

We love the versatility of the School of Making pieces and so we thought it would be a fun idea to style them with some of our favorite brands that you can find online. This was such a fun process, to play and style these staple pieces. Hopefully there is a look for everyone. Enjoy!

(The Tee, skirt, boot, bag, hair bow, earrings)

The first look is the T-shirt. The T-shirt is the perfect casual basic to pair with your favorite boots, skirt, or pants. We have decided to style this top with a long maxi skirt, cowboy boots, and fringe bag, to really add that cowboy flair. To pull the look together, pair it with more girly accessories, such as heart earrings and a hair bow. So cute! This is the perfect outfit for running errands, going to the farmers market, or even on a shopping outing.

(The Swing Skirt, top, sandals, bag, earrings)

For the second look we have the Swing Skirt. Picture sitting on an adirondack chair looking out at the water and enjoying a good book. This look is timeless, chic, and effortless. But will have everyone asking you “where did you get that skirt?”. We styled the Swing Skirt with a white blouse, statement earrings, woven bag, and tied it all together with a pair of red sandals. This is the perfect look for a beach vacation, reading in the park or strolling around on a summer night.

(Keyhole Dress, sandals, socks, hat, waist bag, necklace)

The third look is the ever so lovely Keyhole Dress. A perfect dress to wear if you have a baby shower to go to or a bridal shower, it's casual, but also very stylish. Might we also say, very comfortable to wear all day! We've decided to pair the look with a lovely waist bag, to add some shape to the dress, a hat, statement necklace to really show the keyhole element of the dress and some nice heeled sandals which you can pair with socks or not, if that is your style. Think of the Keyhole Dress as your one stop shop for any event you may need to go to.

(Factory Dress, tights, boots, bag, earrings)

For the fourth look, we have the Factory Dress. We styled the Factory Dress as if it was your cooler cousin. The dress is the perfect 90s grunge moment. We paired it with a lug sole chelsea boot, lace tights, and of course, a plaid bag. Add a pop of color and a fun element with cute daisy earrings. You can wear the factory dress to a concert, on a night out, or even just a fun dinner date.

(The Crop Pant, top, heels, bag, bracelets)

For our final look we have the Crop Pants. Now if the Factory Dress is your cooler cousin, then the Crop Pant is your very stylish aunt. Always effortless and chic when she walks into the room. We styled the Crop Pants with a cotton tunic top, stunningly gorgeous pink high heels and a lovely clutch bag. To add some fun and color we added some stacked rainbow bracelets. This look is the perfect chic outfit to wear on a date night or a night on the town with your girls.

Let us know which look is your favorite! Or if you have any fun styling ideas for the School Of Making x Alabama Chanin collection.

Xoxo, Emily
