FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

21¾ (23, 24¼, 25¾)" [55 (58.5, 62, 65) cm] chest circumference, buttoned / shown in size 21¾" [55 cm] / to fit 0-6 (6-12, 12-8, 18-24) months 

YARN:

chickadee / carrie's yellow 125 / 2 (3, 3, 3) skeins

NEEDLES:

16" circular in size US 5 [3.75 mm] / set dpns in size US 5 [3.75 mm]

GAUGE:

24 sts and 34 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Cardigan is knitted from the top down with raglan yoke shaping. Stitches are picked up and knitted around neck for collar. Sleeves are worked in the round. Button bands worked simultaneously with body.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Backward loop cast on, increasing, decreasing, working in the round, picking up stitches, long-tail cast on.
