NEEDLES:

29" circular needle in size US 5 [3.75 mm] / set of double-pointed needles in size US 5 [3.75 mm]

GAUGE:

24 sts and 32 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch

NOTES:

Vest is worked flat in one piece from hem to underarm, then fronts and back are worked separately and shoulders are joined with the three-needle bind off. Collar worked after shoulders are joined. Stitches are picked up at each armhole for ribbed cuffs. 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Cast on, increasing, decreasing, three-needle bind off (link provided), picking up stitches, working in the round, binding off, making button holes.
