GAUGE:

19 sts and 25 rows = 4" [10 cm] in shell pattern, after blocking

NOTES:

Shrug is knitted flat from bottom up. CO and BO edges are seamed together to form sleeves and back opening, then sts are picked up around armholes and back opening and worked in the round.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail cast on (link provided), increasing, decreasing, seaming, working in the round, picking up stitches.
