GAUGE:
20 sts and 26 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch with larger needle, after blocking
NOTES:
Shrug is knitted from the center back in each direction. Stitches are bound off for lower back, and remaining stitches are worked to create shoulder and front. Held stitches and stitches picked up in lower back edge are worked in a continuous rib along lower edge. Fronts are seamed to back, and stitches are picked up around armhole for cuff.
