What about patterns?

All patterns are sold as downloadable pdfs. We do not ship paper patterns. If, for some reason, you are unable to access a printer or have trouble downloading your pattern, please email us at info@quinceandco.com. We will send you a hard copy for an additional $1.00.

Accessing your patterns

When purchasing your PDF patterns, you can download them right from the confirmation page. After that, they are accessible from your account history. The links are good for up to 3 downloads over an unlimited period of time. To get to your patterns, log into your Quince & Co. account, and then follow the "view account history" link. Once in your account history, click the "view" button next to the order you wish to look at. Your pattern download link(s) will be at the bottom of the page.

If you discover a link that's not working, there may be an update to your pattern-please get in touch with us at info@quinceandco.com for the latest version of your pattern(s).

Product info and care

Wool and wool blends
We love wool fiber the way it comes off the sheep. We don't treat it with chemicals or heat to make it machine washable. We prefer to leave intact the little barbs that give wool its wonderful insulating, elastic, and felting qualities.

Therefore, we recommend that you handwash your wool project with gentle soap in cool water. Rinse it thoroughly and gently press out extra water and roll it lightly in a terry towel to absorb more of the moisture. Lay your project out to the correct measurements and let it dry naturally. If you want to speed up drying, aim a fan at the drying surface.

If you'd like to try machine washing, use cool water and a gentle cycle. After spinning, lay your garment flat to dry. And never, never put your knitted wool garment in the dryer.

Linen
Our linen yarn is machine washable in cold water. Lay it flat to dry and iron, if necessary, with a medium-hot iron. The more you wash a linen piece, the softer and drapier it becomes.
