FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

54" [137 cm] circumference and 7½" [19 cm] deep

YARN:

tern / 2 skeins each: dusk 415 (MC) / driftwood 401 (CC) 

NEEDLES:

two 40" circulars in size US 6 [4 mm] / one spare needle in size US 7 [4.5 mm]

GAUGE:

20 sts and 38 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking / 19 sts and 38 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in Irish mesh pattern, after blocking

NOTES:

Cowl is knitted in the round, beginning with the lining (MC in stockinette stitch) followed by the overlay (CC in Irish mesh pattern). Piece is then folded in half and joined using the three-needle bind off.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Invisible provisional cast on (link provided), increasing, decreasing, three-needle bind off (instructions included).
