birds of a feather: part two

Feb 16, 2016 :: by Leila Raabe

Our next design team member joins us from across the ocean: Coming to us all the way from Germany, we are pleased to welcome Isabell Kraemer to Quince's 2016 design team!

Isabell is a newcomer to designing for Quince, but needs no introduction to many of you. Known for creating garments with seamless, top down construction (often with fantastically executed stripes), we love that her designs are casual, enjoyable and non-fussy to knit, and easily flattering to a range of body types. Isabell has a knack for taking the simplest of elements, working them into classic shapes, and creating a fresh take on the everyday sweater (and shawl...and yes, even a cape).

We knew her balanced eye for design would be a heavenly match for Quince yarn (check out her lovely Edie top knitted in Sparrow, for an example), and we are thrilled to have her join our design team lineup. We can't wait to show you what she's come up with!

The countdown continues...
