birds of a feather: part three

Feb 17, 2016 :: by Leila Raabe

Our next design team reveal is not only one of our favorite people in the world, but a very familiar face at Quince: Announcing Cecily Glowik MacDonald as part of our 2016 design team lineup!

Quince and Cecily have a working history going back many years, over many collaborations. Among them, Wool books 1–5, co-designed with Melissa LaBarre; the Solstice cardigan, a solid fan favorite; pretty scarves like Samantha and Oria; perfect accessories like the Sabrina mitts and the Tremont cap.

Let's not forget her other designs outside of Quince, written our yarns, like the Meridian cardigan in Osprey, the recently released Lauren's cardigan in Puffin, her Sunrise cardi in Tern for Swoon Maine, the utterly gorgeous Waterfront dress in Kestrel...the impressive list goes on.

It was a no-brainer to invite her to join the design team—Cecily knows our yarns inside and out. She's created so many beautiful patterns for us, right from the get-go. As proven many a time, she gets Quince! And how lucky we are to have her.

Our first design team release is almost here...are you ready?
