crochet week tuesday: hop la vie
How beautiful is this crocheted cowl! Introducing our Tuesday reveal for Crochet Week: Hop La Vie in Chickadee designed by Louise Bélair. Clever use of front- and back-post double crochet creates the ribbing, which flows into v-shaped motifs before landing in the soft, pebbly texture that forms the main portion of the cowl's fabric.
We love Hop La Vie for its great use of a bouncy, plump yarn like Chickadee to create that irresistible stitch definition. The length of this piece allows it to be worn as a single long loop, or doubled up and wrapped about the neck for extra warmth, if you need it. Simple, versatile, and utterly gorgeous.
We hope you enjoyed our second release for Crochet Week (if you missed it, do check out yesterday's release of Leilani)!
Hop La Vie can be purchased as a single pattern, or as part of our Crochet Week bundle—five beautiful crochet patterns in Quince yarns.
Stay tuned for our next new crochet patterns, coming your way all week.
