Happy October from Quince & Co! For a lot of us, this month is when knitting season kicks into high gear—a busy and joyous occasion, but also one that entails a bit of preparation. We've got you covered. Or should we say, Knitbot's got you covered!
Hannah Fettig is celebrating this wonderful time of year with us—October is Knibot Month, and we have a lot in store for the next few weeks!
What, exactly, do we have?
Head on over to our Ravelry group for our Knitbot KAL starting today. Pick a Knitbot pattern, treat yourself to some Quince & Co. yarn, and get knitting. Show us what you’re up to! We'll be knitting along with you and will also be on hand to answer questions if you need help with your projects (or provide suggestions, moral support, virtual tea and cookies...). Once the KAL is over we’ll be drawing winners from participants who have crossed the finish line and posted photos of their newly completed projects. Winners receive a gift certificate to Quince's store (translation: free yarn!).
To qualify: this month, any Knitbot pattern applies—from simple 70 yard mitts, to your umpteenth Featherweight, to a cheerful colorwork project like Birdie Fair Isle. Go as big or as little, as simple or as challenging, as you like. Cast on any day in October. It's up to you! Everyone is welcome to participate in the KAL no matter which yarn you choose, but only projects worked in a Quince yarn will be eligible to win.
We absolutely love seeing your WIP photos, too, so if you want to show them off outside of the Rav group, make sure to use #quincekal on Instagram and Twitter. We may even regram/retweet your beautiful work!
The Knitbot KAL will be going now through October 31st (Happy Halloween!) , and we’ll announce the winners of our GCs the week after. See our rules at the top of the KAL threads for complete details. Have fun!
Knitbot promotions are also happening all month long! Now is the time to fill in that void on your bookshelf, real or virtual. If you happen to already have a number of Hannah’s books, this is a GREAT opportunity to start getting some quality holiday gifts checked off your list.
Let's go over our sweetly discounted bundle options, shall we?
Bundle 1 (above): Get all four Knitbot books—Yoked, Linen, Essentials, Home & Away—bundled together for $70. This four-book print+pdf set also comes with a free Quince tote and free Stashbot guide! Any and all make perfect holiday gifts, for yourself or for a beloved knitter in your life.
Bundle 2 (above): Knitbot Yoked and Knitbot Linen! Buy print+pdf versions of these two books together for $27, or just the e-book pdfs for $25.
And finally, a sweet discount on Knitbot Essentials: get the print+pdf version for $17, or just the e-book for $16!
Remember, these are for a limited time only, so make sure to get your orders in by October 31st to take advantage of these discounts.
Knitbot Month is also Giveaways Galore Month, and we have lots of prizes for lucky Quince and Knitbot fans. You could be one of them! Visit and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest, so you don’t miss out on the contests running exclusively on each channel. Follow the links to join in on the fun!
Now, you may not be someone who cares to use social media. We get that. Fret not—we also have a kickoff prize to give away right here, right now on the blog. Simply leave a comment below, letting us know which Knitbot book or pattern you’re most excited about, and you’re entered to win all 4 Knitbot books (Yoked, Linen, Essentials, and Home & Away)—each of them autographed by Hannah Fettig!
Terms: Comments to this post will be closed at 12PM EST on Friday, October 2nd, and the winner will be announced on the blog on Saturday, October 3rd. Comments left on other posts will not qualify. Multiple comments left by the same individual will not be counted. You will need a Disqus account to leave a comment, but you do not have to use it for any other reason besides entering our blog giveaways!
Last but not least...
Hannah will be stopping by the Quince blog for a series of guests posts, starting this Sunday, October 4th. We hope she’ll tell you all about how amazing Quince is, but we’ll let her decide what she'll talk about.
In the meantime, come over to the Quince Rav group and start knitting along with us—we can't wait to hear what you decide to cast on!
