August is almost here, and while we’re looking forward to cozy fall projects, there’s still lots of warm weather to knit through. Luckily, we have a nice selection of patterns designed with our cool, 100% organic cotton yarns Whimbrel and Willet in mind. We’ve curated a few of our favorite patterns from summers past—from light and breezy tees, to summery shawls, to darling knits for the littles in your life—cool cotton designs abound!

Summer begs for basics, and Atlee delivers. In organic cotton Willet, with an a-line shape, scooped neckline and textural details in the yoke, Leah's tee is a picture-perfect essential for easy days in the sun.

Paulina builds a simple garter stitch body on this piece, starting at one tip, then transitions into a pretty goblet motif, and ends with a twisted rib. In our soft organic cotton Whimbrel, Chalice provides a nice weight for warm summer nights.

Melanie created this gorgeous, elongated triangle with our organic cotton Willet, using lacy openwork stitches offset by flowing ridges of garter stitch. Increasing on one side while decreasing away the other makes this one an easy, relaxing knit.

Pam’s Baby Kelpie is a fan favorite when it comes to baby knits. Knitted in Willet, this darling piece is worked from the bottom up, beginning flat with a garter stitch trim, and shaped with short rows.
