Hello Friends!

Happy World Wide Knit in Public Day (WWKIP)! Founded by Danielle Landes in 2005, WWKIP is the largest knitting event in the world. Danielle started the event to bring knitters together, share ideas, and shine a light on our wonderful knitting community. Whether you are just beginning or are well seasoned in the craft, WWKIP welcomes all levels of skills and curiosity. Check out your LYS for WWKIP locations or visit here to see a list of events close to you.

WWKIP is a great opportunity to dust off a fallen WIP, or perhaps dig into something new. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, may we suggest a few of our Quince favorites knit in summer-y linens!

From left to right: Marai Maraiby Hanna MaciejewskaHarpswell Apron by Pam Allen, and Lätta by Frances Othen-Wales.

Marai by Hanna Maciejewska

A timeless, easy to wear sleeveless shell gets a modern twist with vertical and horizontal braided accents and an asymmetrical, split hemline. Knit in organic linen, Kestrel.

Harpswell Apron by Pam Allen

This sure to be summer staple features an alternating drop stitch pattern, a single halter strap, and a simple, sweet button closure at the back. Knit in organic linen, Sparrow.

Lätta by Frances Othen-Wales

Equal parts timeless and dramatic, Lätta can be worn with its signature twist in the front or the back. It's constructed by knitting two long pieces that are then folded around each other to create an elegant, chignon-style knot. Knit in organic linen, Sparrow.
