Melanie Rice
Melanie offered up this stunning bottom-up shawl, which is worked essentially on the bias, as it builds two diverging cable border panels while simultaneously filling the center with easy garter stitch. The right and left tips are worked separately to complete the shawl, and finished with an unusual bind off. Worked up in Cygnus, we love the idea of this shawl in faded denim Mercury, deep blue Perseus or bright Sol, a Quince favorite.
