FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

30½ (33, 35½, 37½, 40, 43, 46, 48½, 52½)" [77.5 (84, 90, 95.5, 101.5, 109, 117, 123, 133.5) cm] at bust / shown in size 30½" [77.5 cm] with 1½" [4 cm] negative ease

YARN:

sparrow /  6 (6, 6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9, 10) skeins nannyberry 203 (MC) / 1 skein little fern 205 (CC)

NEEDLES:

32" circular in size US 4 [3.5 mm] / one spare needle in size US 6 [4 mm]

GAUGE:

20 sts and 40 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch, after wet-blocking

NOTES:

Cardigan is knitted from the top down, with raglan yoke shaping and front shaping throughout. Body increased at sides. Sleeves are worked flat, then seamed. Cuffs and hem are finished in a contrasting color, then stitches are picked up around fronts and neck to complete the contrasting trim.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail, cable, and backward loop cast ons, seaming (links provided); picking up stitches, increasing, decreasing.
