saltwind

Keiko Kikuno

$9

Designed by Keiko Kikuno, Saltwind is a study in texture and tradition. It captures the timeless spirit of the fisherman’s gansey, refined in vest form. Worked from the bottom up in the round, the piece begins with a deep 2x2 rib hem before giving way to a richly cabled body that evokes ropes, tides, and weathered wood. Knit in Osprey, its plush, round stitches lend sculptural depth to every cable, like salt-softened rope catching light along the deck. Saltwind is a vest for layering, for living in, and for carrying tradition wherever you go
