lark / iceland 153 or river 107 / 9 (10, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins

NEEDLES:

16", 24", and 32" circular in size US 8 [4 mm] / set dpns in size US 8 [4 mm] or one 40" circular if using magic loop

GAUGE:

18 sts and 26 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette st, after blocking

NOTES:

Cowl is worked from the bottom up. Stitches are picked up around base of cowl and body of sweater is knitted in the round from the top down with raglan yoke shaping. Back body is shaped with short rows near hem.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail cast on (link provided), picking up stitches, cables, increasing, decreasing, working in the round, Sunday short rows (instructions included), backward loop cast on (instructions included). Charts and line-by-line instructions included.
