field mark

Field Mark is a pair of fingerless mitts designed by Stephanie M., knit in Starling. A field mark is a distinctive feature used to identify a bird, while binoculars help to see those details. A band of colorwork binoculars wraps the hand, paying tribute to the tool that brings birds, landscapes, and fleeting moments into focus.

Worked with a ribbed cuff, thumb gusset, and a single colorwork chart, the open hand allows for easy handling of binoculars (or your WIP) while exploring outdoors.

Pair these with Stephanie's snowy owl Duchess socks for all your birding adventures.
