NEEDLES:

32" circular in size US 7 [4.5 mm] / spare needle in size US 7 [4.5 mm]

GAUGE:

16 sts and 23 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch, after blocking

NOTES:

Cardigan is knitted in one piece, from the bottom up, with slight a-line shaping. Sleeves are knitted flat from the bottom up. Body and sleeves are joined at underarm and yoke is worked up to neck. Ribbed border stitches along center fronts are continued and sewn to the back neck edge.

SKILLS REQUIRED: 

Long-tail cast on, three-needle bind off, seaming (links provided); increasing, decreasing.
