This little cap is the iconic watch cap re-worked in ever appealing garter stitch. Like Fisherman Rib, the traditional stitch pattern for this workaday cap, garter is dense and cushy and captures air, the better to insulate against the cold. The cap begins at the peak and is knitted down to the cuff. It's worked in Delaine Merino, a wonderful yarn for hats or anything worn close to the skin.
