NEEDLES:

double-pointed needles in size US 3 [3.25 mm]

GAUGE:

6½ sts = 1" [2.5 cm] inch in stockinette stitch

NOTES:

Doll is worked seamlessly from the crown of the head down. Shoulders and yoke are worked in similar fashion to a top-down sweater with raglan shaping and sleeves put on hold while body is worked. Legs are divided and worked to shoes. Arm stitches are returned to needles and worked to hand. Facial features are embroidered onto head.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail cast on, french knots, duplicate stitch (links provided), backward loop cast on (instructions included), increasing, decreasing.
