When it comes to Norwegian knitting traditions, there’s a rich history of pairing embroidery with knits. Simple embroidery felt like the perfect embellishment for this hat, worked in the round from the brim up in Chickadee; both bold and playful, it stands out nicely against the stranded colorwork motifs. Quite possibly the perfect knitting project for trying out embroidery stitches for the first time.
