bramble vest

Alexandra Atepaeva

$9

Designer Alexandra Atepaeva of Purl Bear Designs brings us a versatile layering piece that puts texture front and center.

Knit in our deliciously soft and cozy Sora, a blend of wool and nettle, this vest features an allover bramble stitch that brings beautiful texture to the fabric while retaining Sora’s signature softness and subtle halo.

Shown here in Cochineal, this vest has a simple silhouette with wide straps and a gently scooped neckline. Layer it over a favourite shirt, wear it on its own, or tuck it beneath a cardigan for an extra bit of warmth. After all, in our opinion, there’s no such thing as too many knits.

Worked from the bottom up, the body is knit in the round before dividing at the armholes, where the front and back are worked separately. The shoulders are joined with a three-needle bind-off for a clean finish.
