87" [220 cm] wingspan and 22" [55 cm] deep at widest point
YARN:
tern / 3 skeins each: dusk 415 / wampum 410
NEEDLES:
48" circular in size US 6 [4 mm]
GAUGE:
20 sts and 42 rows = 4" [10 cm] in garter stitch, after blocking
NOTES:
The shawl is worked sideways, from the narrow tip. Increases are made along the side edge every RS row, to be used later for the border. WS row increases gradually widen the body of the shawl.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
German short rows, cable and long-tail cast ons (links provided); increasing, decreasing, changing colors.
