jomon

Keiko Kikuno

$ 8

Taking cues from the rope-patterned aesthetics found in ancient Japanese pottery from the Jomon period, Keiko's design makes a striking statement with bobbles intertwined among cable motifs reminiscent of twisted cords. Worked from the bottom up using chunky Puffin, Jomon emulates the period's distinctive style. The broad stand-up neck not only adds structural integrity but also pays homage to the form of Jomon pottery vessels.

This pattern is also available as part of Artisan Collection: Keiko Kikuno.
