Designer Mirva Scivola of Rustic house Knits presents Pino.

In the Mediterranean, many trees grow low to the ground, but the pine stands apart. Unlike the tall pines found farther north, Mediterranean pines form their iconic umbrella-shaped canopy and are among the most common trees across the Italian peninsula. This design draws inspiration from the textured bark of these trees and the rounded forms of their pine cones.

Knit in Starling, the socks are worked from the toe up with a Fleegle heel. The Pino pattern flows across the instep and continues up to the ankle. A sewn bind-off finishes the cuff with a clean, flexible edge.
