FINISHED MEASUREMENTS:

60" [152.5 cm] wingspan and 26" [66 cm] deep

YARN:

tern / syrah 414 / 4 skeins

NEEDLES:

40" circular in sizes US 5 and US 8 [3.75 and 5 mm]

GAUGE:

17 sts and 28 rows = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette stitch using smaller needles, after blocking / 22 sts and 22 rows = 4" [10 cm] in basketweave stitch using larger needles, after blocking 

NOTES:

Shawl is knitted top-down beginning with a garter stitch tab. Alternating panels of stockinette stitch and basketweave cable are worked on different sized needles.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Long-tail cast on (link provided), m1-L/loop increase (link provided), increasing, decreasing, cables. Charts and line-by-line instructions provided.
