Front bands are worked until they reach to center back, joined together using three-needle bind off and then attached to back. Sleeves are picked up from armhole and worked down to cuff in the round with decreases.

yotsukogori

Keiko Kikuno

$8

Drawing inspiration from a motif found in the traditional Japanese Sashiko textile art, Yotsukogori showcases a remarkable large-scale, repeating cable design. Knit using tonal-dyed Phoebe, the cardigan's color naturally shifts as the connecting cable motifs intertwine and enfolds the back. Keiko skillfully harmonizes the cable pattern with a sleek stockinette front flanked by linear ribbed edges.

This pattern is also available as part of Artisan Collection: Keiko Kikuno.
